About this Role
UNRWA Syria seeks TVET Instructors in Graphic Design to deliver vocational training courses to Palestinian refugee students across TVET centres in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs, Hama, Latakia, and Daraa. The instructor designs curricula, delivers practical training, and assesses student competency in modern graphic design tools and techniques.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver graphic design training courses aligned with UNRWA curriculum
- Teach design software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Assess student progress through practical assignments and examinations
- Develop and update course materials to reflect industry standards
- Maintain records of student attendance and achievement
- Support students in developing portfolios for employment
Requirements
- Vocational or university qualification in graphic design or visual communication
- Minimum 2 years practical experience in graphic design
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Teaching or training experience preferred
- Fluent Arabic; English an asset
