As the Training Officer, you will have the exciting opportunity to be part of delivering training for INSO Syria, in all locations covered by INSO. You will play a key role in organizing, delivering, and evaluating training courses that support national and international NGOs in organizational safety and security management, personal risk mitigation, and humanitarian access, first aid and other relevant topics as required. You will contribute to compliance with INSO training standards and best practices. Regular in-country travel is required.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, experienced in working with humanitarian organizations, and comfortable with administrative tasks. They are motivated, self-directed, and able to take initiative when needed. A strong interest in INSO's mission, the Syrian context, and the humanitarian sector is essential. The successful candidate will be based in Damascus.
Contract: National staff only · 12 months with 3-month probation · Start: August 2026
