WASH Officer — Aleppo

UNICEF Syria seeks a WASH Officer (NO-2, Fixed Term) in Aleppo to support programme development and implementation of WASH interventions in the Syrian Arab Republic.

Key Responsibilities

• Programme development and planning for WASH interventions
• Programme management, monitoring and delivery of results
• Technical and operational support for programme implementation
• Humanitarian WASH preparedness and response
• Networking and partnership building with government and NGO partners
• Innovation, knowledge management and capacity building

Requirements

• University degree in engineering, public health, social sciences, environmental health, or related technical fields
• Minimum 2 years in WASH, programme management, water supply, sanitation, humanitarian response, or monitoring/evaluation
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required
• Programme management, monitoring and evaluation, and report preparation skills
