HMA Field Medic — Aleppo

DRC seeks an HMA Field Medic Specialist to provide medical support to humanitarian mine action clearance teams during field operations in Aleppo, with country-wide travel. 12-month contract with possible extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical support to HMA clearance teams during field operations
• Deliver emergency medical response and casualty stabilization in accident situations
• Coordinate casualty evacuation (CASEVAC) plans with local medical facilities
• Maintain and inspect medical equipment, trauma kits, supplies, and medications
• Conduct medical training for DRC staff including Basic Care Provider (BCP) training
• Manage restricted drug storage and administration per Syrian legislation and DRC protocols
• Monitor hygiene and disease prevention in operational areas

Requirements

• Certified medical professional (Paramedic, Nurse, or equivalent); Medical Doctor qualification to Syrian National Standard
• Minimum 2 years humanitarian or emergency response medical experience
• IMAS Intermediate Care Provider (ICP) training or equivalent
• Fluency in English and Arabic; valid driving license for four-wheel drive vehicles
