HMA EOD Team Leader — Aleppo

DRC seeks a Humanitarian Mine Action (EOD) Team Leader to supervise EOD operations in Aleppo with country-wide travel. 12-month contract with possibility of extension. Expected start: Mid-July 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise team operations ensuring tasks are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
• Manage personnel performance, leave, and conduct performance reviews
• Coordinate with local authorities and safety departments
• Oversee EOD/MMC/BAC field activities and quality assurance
• Manage equipment maintenance and inventory audits
• Conduct daily safety briefings and operational reports

Requirements

• Minimum IMAS EOD Level 2 certification from recognized training
• Minimum 2 years managing 6+ personnel
• Valid manual driving license (Category A), 4x4 capable
• Proficient in MS Office; fluent English and Arabic (speaking, reading, writing)
• High School Diploma minimum
