About this Role

INSO seeks an IT Assistant to serve as primary IT support for staff at its Damascus office in Syria. 12-month fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as primary IT support for staff via in-person and remote assistance
Install and configure operating systems and applications
Manage backup of emails and files to cloud storage
Deploy and maintain laptops, phones, and office equipment
Resolve SharePoint and OneDrive synchronization issues
Maintain logistics databases including asset registries and travel trackers
Support staff travel arrangements and movement coordination

Requirements

2+ years IT/logistics experience
Extensive experience with Windows operating systems and other Microsoft technologies
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic
Microsoft certifications and SharePoint/Power Apps experience are preferred
