About this Role

INSO seeks an Operations & Liaison Officer for its Damascus office in Syria. This is a national staff position. 12-month fixed-term contract. Responsibilities include both operational support and maintaining relationships with government authorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with procurement activities, vendor identification, and documentation management
  • Coordinate logistics for events, workshops, and training activities
  • Manage travel arrangements and staff documentation
  • Build and maintain relationships with government authorities
  • Facilitate INSO registration and compliance with local regulations
  • Manage visa and work permit documentation for staff

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in operations/liaison, preferably with NGOs
  • Fluent English and Arabic (written and verbal)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, HR, or Logistics
  • Prior government institution experience or NGO background is an asset
