Operations Officer — Raqqa
About this Role
INSO seeks an Operations Officer for its Raqqa office in Syria. This is a national staff position requiring legal residency and work authorization in Syria. 12-month fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with procurement activities and vendor management
- Coordinate logistics for events and training activities
- Manage office resources and asset tracking
- Arrange staff travel, accommodations, and flight bookings
- Process purchase requests, quotations, and purchase orders
- Handle petty cash transactions and cash advances
- Maintain filing systems and internal documentation
- Support compliance checks and donor due diligence
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably with INGOs
- Proficient English and Arabic (written and verbal)
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, HR, Logistics, or related field
- No travel restrictions
