About this Role
Relief International seeks a Medical Officer to lead healthcare delivery at supported facilities in Idlib, Northwest Syria, while maintaining quality standards across health programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead healthcare delivery at supported facilities while maintaining quality standards
- Conduct clinical audits and case reviews to ensure protocol compliance
- Supervise healthcare providers through field visits and ongoing communication
- Assess staff capacity needs and organize training programs
- Coordinate with medical commodity and WASH teams on equipment and facility needs
- Review and analyze health facility reports and prescription audits
- Represent the organization at technical working group meetings
Requirements
- Medical degree from recognized institution
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical practice in healthcare inside Syria with 2+ years in a supervisory role
- Strong public health knowledge and medical protocol expertise
- NGO humanitarian/development experience
- English proficiency (written and spoken)
- Computer literacy and strong interpersonal skills
