About this Role
War Child seeks a Localisation Specialist to provide strategic oversight and quality assurance of War Child's localisation commitments across Syria and Jordan, based in Damascus.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate MOU development with local organisations and track partnership performance indicators
- Oversee partnership review processes and coordinate localisation data for reporting
- Facilitate local partner participation in institutional mechanisms and coordination forums
- Track representation targets and support joint advocacy initiatives
- Maintain visibility logs for co-branded communications
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of partnership coordination experience within INGOs or UN agencies
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Demonstrated expertise in localisation frameworks and multi-stakeholder coordination
- Willingness to travel within Syria and to Jordan
Contract: Syrian national contract | Based in Damascus with field visits
