About this Role

Relief International seeks a Community Mobilizer to develop and execute community-level protection initiatives in the Kisra area of Deir ez-Zor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organise and conduct risk assessments, awareness sessions, and community dialogues
  • Gather and document protection data and facilitate referrals for vulnerable individuals
  • Support women, girls, and returnees to overcome barriers in accessing services
  • Coordinate with community networks, local health workers, and authorities
  • Contribute to monitoring and reporting activities for the protection programme

Requirements

  • University degree in Education, Sociology, or related social science field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a humanitarian organisation
  • Background in community mobilisation and outreach
  • Strong commitment to gender equality and humanitarian principles
  • Familiarity with Deir ez-Zor geography is an asset; English proficiency desirable
